Dit jaar zijn we begonnen met het thema Back to school
We hebben schoolwoorden herhaald en nieuwe woorden geleerd: schoolbag, pencil, pencil case, book, glue, scissors, board, window, rubber, ruler, desk.

We spelen spelletjes om de woorden te leren zoals 'what's missing'. En we doen oefeningen uit ons boek.

Het uitbeeldverhaal (action story) ging zo:
Put your pencil case and your books in your schoolbag
Walk to school
You run into a tree
A dog tears your jeans
It starts raining
Shout: "Oh no!"
At school a girl gives you a card
Look at it.
It says: come to my party
Close your eyes and smile.

Aan het begin van de les doen we vaak een rap en die gaat zo:
Good morning, good afternoon (3x)
Good evening and goodnight.

Hello, what's your name? (3x)
I'm called .....

We zingen een lied dat heet: Oh what a lovely morning

You're in bed
And you wake up
You check your watch
It's time to get up

Oh, what a lovely morning
It's time to go to school
Oh, what a lovely morning
School is so cool (2x)

Wash your face
Put on your clothes
Have a glass of milk
Take your bag and off you go

Oh, what a lovely morning....

We oefenen met tellen van 0 tot 100 en leren hoe je aan iemand vraagt wat zijn of haar telefoonnummer is.
